Fall 2012 — Spring 2015

Tastemakers is Northeastern's student-run music magazine. I was a designer and illustrator for the publication for 5 semesters, each issue working with writers to design spreads that were visually engaging and reflected content. In my senior year I became the Art + Design director, in which the responsibilities included: managing a team of designers, running meetings and design critiques, facilitating communication between designers and writers, creating any collateral needed for events and recruitment, designing the recurring sections of the magazine, such as the cover, masthead, calendar, album + show reviews, local talent, and local photos, compiling the final 52 page issue, and interfacing with the printer. Below are some of the spreads I designed over the past couple of years.
